Transparent prices are available for all cleaning with feet on the ground, but as I’m sure you’ll appreciate, any work at heights is priced after survey due to many factors involved.
Roof Cleaning

At Fibre and Fabric we have the experience and expertise to clean and remove moss from all types of roof coverings, old and newer.
We offer two types of clean: Steam Clean or Roof Scrape (Dry Clean).
Steam Clean
Our twin-mounted, custom-fitted trailer is equipped to tackle all types of surfaces.
Fitted with two Honda pressure-controlled systems, we are able to clean the most delicate surfaces at the desired pressure and up to 150c making it the ultimate clean.
Before pricing, a full survey is carried out, the survey normally takes an hour and allows us to to do a risk assessment, measure the roof, look at the condition of the roof covering and mortars, check access, water pressure, drainage, take photos and carry out a drone survey, it also gives us the chance to answer any questions you might want to ask us.
We carry out all roof repairs from broken tiles, rebedding to reporting, enabling us to fully restore your rooftop
We are IPAF trained and certified, allowing the safe use of elevated work platforms for hard to reach areas at your home or work place as well as pasma trained for safe use of our mobile scaffolding towers.
Steam cleaning is far more effective and less aggressive than cold water pressure cleaning, especially when it comes to old and sometimes unbeknown fragile tiles and slates. Not only is steam cleaning better, melting lichen before your eyes, it kills spores at the root of the problem, eliminating them and preventing them from returning anytime soon, so no need for a biocide treatment with steam making it the most eco-friendly method due to no chemicals at all.
Once the cleaning has been carried out, gutters are cleared and tested for water runoff, then the outside of the building, including gutters, facias, and soffits, are gently steam cleaned, breaking down dirt and years of built-up carbon and grime. All surrounding hard standings and windows are cleaned to finish.
Depending on the property size will depend on how long it will take, but an average detached UK home with a garage takes two cleaning specialists two days to complete.
Moss Removal/Dry Scrape
Using long reach poles with twin profiled Scraper heads and wire brushes, we clear moss up close from the gutter and roof height.
Once the scrape is finished, we clear gutters and check them to make sure water runs off.
A biocide treatment can then be applied to your roof covering once we have scraped it, which will continue to kill leftover spores like lichen, which in turn will continue to clean your roof.

Render Softwash/Steam Clean
Why paint it when we can clean it!
Having your property’s walls cleaned can prolong the life of the render as we will eliminate any growths before allowing them to multiply and become a bigger problem further down the line.
Different types of facades of properties, whatever it is Monocouche, sand & cement, brick or weather boarding etc, each require the correct methods of cleaning, some renders require nothing more than a very low pressure cold water rinse down, others a chemical softwash with 1 or more chemical applications depending on the staining. We also offer a gentle steam clean that will eliminate any spores without the need for any chemicals.

Driveway & Patio Steam Cleaning, Repairs and Sealing
We steam clean all types of hardstandings and use different methods to do so. Whether it’s block paving that you need cleaned and re-sanded, Indian sandstone you need cleaning and black spot removal being chemically treated or a concrete drive brought back to life, we can help!
Using steam, we are able to sterilise the area opposed to just cleaning the area. This gives you the peace of mind that your exterior hardstandings are safely sanitised for both you and your loved ones.
Stains
Stains like oil, rust and mortar can be an eyesore on your expensive paving and unfortunately, any stain removal job cannot be guaranteed, as different types of stains on paving can be permanent, normally due to the paving pourisity and the amount of time they have been there. However, by using steam over cold water pressure, we have the best chance of totally removing or fading stains.
Repairs
We also offer a patio and driveway paving repairs service to get your property’s hardstandings reinstated and looking like new again. Repairs such as sunken paving, spread edgings and repointing patios, etc, are carried out to a high standard. All Repairs are priced on survey.
Sealing
The best time to seal a drive or patio is soon after it’s been cleaned and when the weather is warm and dry.
The paving sealant we use (Resiblock) is a quality resin-based 2-part application that seeps into the paver, protecting the block, enhancing the colours and hardening the sand joints harder than concrete, which in turn prevents weeds coming through for years to come, giving you a maintenance-free free vibrant-looking hardstanding. It’s also guaranteed against oil stains, as nothing can get through the 2 part epoxy resin-based system.
The sealant’s lifespan will depend on how much foot and vehicle traffic passes over, but Resiblock says the durability claim of up to 5 years, but this product is known for lasting ĥvery much longer.
